From the northern beaches of the OBX to Ocracoke Island in the south, four lighthouses were built to guide seafarers safely through the treacherous coastal waters. During our stay in the OBX, we visited all four. You can navigate through the photos in this gallery sequentially, or click one of the links below for images associated with a specific lighthouse.
Currituck Beach Light Station (Corolla, Northern Beaches), Bodie Island Lighthouse (Hatteras Island); Cape Hatteras Lighthouse (Hatteras Island); and Ocrakoce Lighthouse (Ocracoke Island).
