This is a collection of "some" favorite photos from my May 2008 visit to Turkey that included sightseeing in and around İzmir and a side trip to the Gelibolu (Gallipoli) Peninsula to visit the monuments and memorials of the World War I Gallipoli Campaign. During the side trip, we toured other interesting places as well - some I had been to before (such as Ayvalık); others were new to me (such as Assos/Behramkale).
